Veteran Security is extremely excited to announce a partnership today with Kaspersky.
In line with our mission to help active-duty and military veterans transition into and excel in CyberSecurity, Kaspersky has graciously offered their new online Yara course to 5 of our members.
Members selected for this offer will begin on August 11th, 2020, and will receive six months of access to the platform with video lectures, quizzes, as well as 200 hours of access to a virtual lab for completing practical tasks. Additionally, members will receive a personalized certificate upon completion of the training.
The course is taught by Costin Raiu, a 25-year cybersecurity expert and the Director of Kaspersky’s Global Research and Analysis Team (“GReAT”). For more information on the course, visit https://xtraining.kaspersky.com/.
The Board of Veteran Security appreciates the offering by Kaspersky and their dedication to helping veterans transition into cyber security fields, and we look forward to working with Kaspersky in an on-going basis in the future.
To apply for the scholarship to this course, members can visit the #vetsec-leadership channel in Slack. We look forward to announcing the people selected for the course, and again, thank you Kaspersky.
